I was thinking of backing Webber to go out with a fairy tale win at a track he does well at.

But it looks like everyone else had the same idea too.

yeah I have been thinking Webber's best chance is this weekend for a few weeks now. He has always done well in Brazil and I could see Seb using it as a chance to rectify the multi21 dramas from earlier in the year.

But starting to change my mind as the winning streak continues, just can't see Seb letting off with a chance for 9 in a row.

Hey did you guys see this post about the competition to win $275,000 next year?

The rest is still in planning. Here is my broad brush ideas;

The entry fee $1,000. Limited to 700 teams. SBR will add the $300,000 overlay. All players in all regions invited.

The championship will be Sept to May. Contestants can bet any major sport offered in the SBR Sportsbook. Probably be a restriction of a max on odds to prevent hail marys and conservative stretch run strategy to maybe 3-1 to 1-3.

Probably be in the 777 picks range allowing 7- four unit plays, 70- three unit plays and 700 -two unit plays. Real time odds using an A rated book.(sponsor ytd)

How about we revive the punters club for this?

$500 Pinny cash + $500 5D cash costs 14500 points.

There is 6 major sports to be covered. I am thinking we could have a betting competition between ourselves to decide who will tip for each sport whilst rolling over the cash and hopefully win enough for more than 1 entry by next September.

I won't go into further detail until I see if anyone might be interested.

Probably cost 1000-1500 points each which would be needed before my pro renewal date at end of december so I can use the available cash left at those books before renewing. (otherwise it will be DSI or SIA if its next year)

We might have a real shot at this if we 'train' for it and our cappers are read up and really focused for their sports season.

Anyway, anyone interested right now in getting this going?

I think we might be able to arrange a loan for any shortfall between us if we get close.
