Default NASCAR Fantasy League 2019

***For those that missed Race 1 but still want to join for future races***

The procedure is actually very simple, simply email the following 4 items to Jordan at
admin@fantasyracingonline.net with your request to join:

1 - Your email address

2 - Group Name: SBR NASCAR

3 - Your SBR Handle (which will serve as your team name)

4 - Password: busch

I'd still recommend submitting your request no later than 24 hours before race time as these additions will be done manually.

2019 SBR Nascar Fantasy League

Free Entry.

Simply pick 5 drivers using a $50,000 salary cap

$1000 Grand Prize plus over 14000 Freeplay Points in weekly prizes.

Week 1 Daytona 500 Special Bonus. $300 in extra cash prizes to the top 3.

How to Join
Go to the Fantasy Racing Online website. Under "Our 2019 Games", select Slingshot Fantasy Auto contest

Click "Register Your Team"

Make Your Fantasy Team Name your EXACT SBR Handle, with the only exception being the omission of symbols

Select "I want to join a PRIVATE League Group"

Private League Group Name: SBR NASCAR

Private League Group Password: busch

To help ensure you are in for the first race, please register no later than 24 hours before green flag! You may send the info a bit later, but there would then be no guarantee you will get signed up in time for the Daytona 500 (although you would be fine for all future races).

The procedure to join will change after the first race, so it is probably best to join ASAP to avoid any logistical issues.

Weekly Free Play Prizes
This contest is totally free to play and each week the top 3 finishers will share 400 in SBR Sportsbook Free Plays* as follows: 1st-250 FP, 2nd 100 FP, 3rd 50 FP. You are not obligated to play every week, but obviously the more weeks you play, the more points you can potentially accumulate toward year-end prizes.

Additionally, for Daytona only, in addition to the weekly free plays the top 3 finishers will also share $300 in BTC* as follows: 1st-$150, 2nd-$100, 3rd-$50.

* - Non-pro members as of 11:59pm the Friday immediately before each race are entitled to 50% of the advertised Free Play prize. This also applies to the Daytona BTC bonus, so you must be Pro by 11:59pm ET Friday, February 15th for full Daytona prizes.

Season-End Cash Prizes
At the end of the NASCAR Season, SBR will pay a total of $1,000 in BTC* to the top 5 finishers of the full-year contest as follows: 1st-$500, 2nd-$200, 3rd-$150, 4th-$100, 5th-$50.

*-You MUST be an SBR Pro no later than 11:59pm ET on Friday, September 13th, the weekend of the first of 10 Playoff races, to receive full year-end prizes. Non-Pros as of that time will receive one-half of year-end prize won.

If there is one Non-Pro (as of September 13th) in the Top 5 at end of year, the highest finishing Pro outside the Top 5 receives $50.

If there are two Non-Pros (as of September 13th) in the Top 5 at end of year, the two highest finishing Pros outside the Top 5 each receive $50.

If there are three or more Non-Pros (as of September 13th) in the Top 5 at end of year, the three highest finishing Pros outside the Top 5 each receive $50.

Game Rules & Scoring

Rules

  • The Slingshot Fantasy Auto Contest runs from February 17, 2019 through November 17, 2019. Only NASCAR’s 36 points-paying races during that time are used in this contest.
  • For each points-paying race (36 in 2019), all drivers will be set at a certain salary that is determined using their recent performance in NASCAR as well as their recent performance at that particular track. These salaries will be posted on the Monday before the race is scheduled to run.
  • Each team will submit a “Roster” of five total drivers that, when added together, do not exceed the $50,000 salary cap.
  • Picks are due at the scheduled green flag for every points-paying race. That time will be listed on the “Submit Picks” page. It is recommended that you submit a roster before the closing time.
  • If the race is delayed until the next day, you will be able to submit picks until the next scheduled green flag. If the race is just being delayed for a few hours, the submission page will remain closed after it’s original scheduled closing, unless the administrator extends the period (an email will be sent notifying teams of this).
  • You can change your roster as many times as you want in a given week before the submission page closes. Once the “Submit Picks” page locks, you cannot change your roster.
  • Each team must submit a new roster for each race–there is no carry-over. If a team does not submit a roster, the team will score zero points for that race.

Scoring
Each “Roster” will accumulate fantasy points in each of the 36 Sprint Cup points-paying races during the 2019 season, starting with the Daytona 500. The total of these fantasy points will equal to that team’s “Weekly Score.”

Any penalties accrued by a driver or team will not be considered in this fantasy game.

Teams will earn fantasy points based on how the DRIVERS picked each race finish, NOT the car number. It is the player’s responsibility to make sure that the drivers they pick are all participating in the race. Any driver that does not start the race will score zero (0) fantasy points.
