I understand that, but what if someone picks 10 winners in 14 weeks and someone else picks 10 winners with one loser thrown in in 13 weeks. Who is the winner? If what you say is correct, and it is the first to 10 wins no matter how many losses you may get, it pays to pick a team every week because a loss is really meaningless in the Big 12 and can be meaningless in the Pac 12. In the other 3 conferences, a loss is critical because there is a game each week. 14 Teams. 14 Weeks.You can pick a team again if it loses. But the one first to 10 wins will win. So if someone doesn't have a loss and picks all 10 teams first will beat you.
