I've seen some strange things happen with pitchers trying to walk a batter.

An intentional walk should never be a guarantee, in my opinion...

I understand that the Cubs are interested in Martin, Liriano and Volquez.

I hate seeing any of them leave Pittsburgh, but losing Martin will hurt the most.

I heard yesterday that the Pirates might pursue Miguel Montero if they can't keep Martin.

Haven't checked Montero's numbers recently but he'd be a better option than Stewart and Sanchez next year...
