3/3/13 10:57am $400.00 $250.00 Pending 4/20/13 10:00pm UFC Fighting 1202 Nate Diaz -160* vs Josh Thomson
I think josh has all the tools to beat a diaz. If he comes in the kind of shape he did in the melendez fight there is a legit upset here. Thomson is the superior wrestler, one of the first skills needed to beat a diaz
he can always get this to the mat if all else fails. Once on the mat it's likely that they will both just neutralize each other. Josh has never been tapped, is quite the grappler, and has been in the game long enough to recognize what people are trying to set up. But josh will be on top and we all know being on top wins

He doesnt even need to wrestle if he doesnt want to, because he has the other thing that beats diaz: great kicker with superior movement/footwork

The way i see it, if they are both in top form, josh can kick and those legs all day ala carlos condit, and he always has the option of getting on top should diaz manage to pressure him.
