This interview with Miriam Nakamoto from last week is seriously one of my favourite MMA interviews ever.

She's incredibly honest, and has no filter, but not in the quickly-becoming-annoying Ronda Rousey way, and she's very straightforward about her goals, ambitions, and fears. Her competitive nature is insane.

There's a moment in the (pre-Invicta 7) interview where she talks about fearing for her safety whenever she enters an MMA cage, along with a quote that, to paraphrase, goes: "In muay thai you could break your forearms blocking a kick, but in MMA, you could get slammed and be paralysed for the rest of your life, and that's a much higher price to pay. You could get taken down awkwardly and blow out your knee and spend a year on the sidelines", and she goes on to talk about how she blew out her ACL in her muay thai career and what a horrible effect it had on her mentally. Terrible.

After Saturday's incident & because of her age I believe she is pretty much done. Too bad I would have liked to see her start earlier in MMA. She's too old & started too late.

Picking? Barboza. Playing? Neither. I told Nunya I 'capped Barboza at -300 and he thought I was crazy, but the market agrees with me. Knowing the moronic forces that drive the MMA market, that probably means he was right.

How do you figure the market agrees with you? The Market is sitting around -270.
