Betting for bobby vs triple poker contest

Wavros' definition of a man sized sample means playing every tournament for 4 years straight like him

I've finished top 5 in more than half the tourneys I've played and they've all had 30+ people

Those tournaments are for men, not little boys like yourself. Can't fold and stall to a cash with over 30 people entered bobbo

Robber can get lucky & win one tourney & have the best ROI on forum, that makes him better than me or any of the top players like Sinmiedo & Shogun? Of course not. Play a man sized sample, then come back & talk to me son.
Why would anyone assume you wanted to apply common sense to a definition that defies it?

Wow...that would be 3, as you only played 5 tourneys.

Again, do something over an extended period of time & then talk to me. Like joining our annual challenge for example. There's only 6 players ahead of me since January, & you obviously wouldn't be one of them chump: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/poker/

August update several days early, since we're at the World Cup Break: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/poker/

According to the convenient link above, I'm at 14,940. I have Tripe at 12,900 unofficially, perhaps he'll confirm or deny.

For Tripe's sake, hopefully there's no truth to the end of poker rumor by poster Onerous. Although paying Waves 29k now or paying 29k in 5 months, hardly makes a difference.

Lol... Yeah, I bet you're checking in early for reasons unrelated to your lucky 1st place finish today. Same way we didn't hear a peep out of you about the supposed importance of being on a leaderboard until you got back on it after months absence

I think you've spouted that rumor more than anyone... Can't entirely blame you, it's about the only chance you'd have to win!

Correct...unrelated to my well earned victory today with 26 entrants, compared to your cheesy 17 entrants. Just so happens tourney's won't start up again until August, allowing the luxury of an early update.

Not surprising, you don't take the initiative of these monthly updates.

Yup, tourneys won't start til August I'm sure....but nobody's fooled by why you updated when you did. As I said above, we've seen it often enough from you

Pretty funny that you ended up in a larger field than average for the day...not that you didn't try with your usual 1-minute-prior buy-in, guess a lot of people joined last minute and ruined your plans eh?

Regardless, I imagine you'd have to be just as lucky to get 1st in a 4 many tournament as in a 26 man one...the way you play, you pretty much try to fold until only a few people are left anyways

I was on the ONLY US team the first time we had the World Cup. And I finished in second in overall points for the entire contest. But that was back when they gave an IPAD for winning the MVP. So your standings actually meant something.

But now the MVP doesnt win anything

Hey bobbo, can't help but notice that last month, as soon as you played the last tournament of the month (more accurately, just minutes after you placed first in it) you had chimed in here to update the totals, allegedly only because we were done for the month. Fast forward a month, last tournament for both of us happens...and instead of updating this thread, you decided to try (unsuccessfully) to help CS4 find a loophole. It's hard to imagine why there'd be such a difference in your actions....but if I had to take a shot in the dark, maybe it's probably because it's hard to say you're "crushing" someone by 80 points?

Current totals: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/poker/ for both of us, but for posterity:
Bobbo: 17,120
TDB: 17,040

I bet the complete absence of anyone wanting to bet on you as a +250 dog with a 3k lead is starting to make a little more sense now eh?

I'm sure we're all interested to hear some more of your explanations on how this contest is a "lock", with your 80 point lead having to hold for 3 months
