The real question is whats the line on Bob Melvin getting canned after Oakland misses the playoffs. His message is clearly falling on deaf ears in that clubhouse now. No heart, no drive and no emotion in Oaktown these days

Not sure Melvin gets canned. A's were cruising until Billy boy made trades and took some pop out of the lineup and screwed with chemistry. I wouldn't fire Melvin. I would look for some hitting in offseason.

for whatever reason the pirates cant win 5 straight games, would have to be the first playoff team to ever pull this off i would imagine if it happens and they dont choke this big lead.
