A showdown between top-10 bantamweights headlines the UFC’s return to the Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday night when Cory Sandhagen plays a dangerous game of fist-chicken with Yadong Song in the main event of UFC Vegas 60. Read on for our UFC Vegas 60 parlay picks and predictions.

In a tale of two streaks, Sandhagen is trying to halt a two-fight losing skid, while Song is hoping to extend his winning streak to four. Results don’t tell the whole story, though. Sandhagen’s setbacks have come against former champions, whereas Song’s triumphs haven’t come against the absolute elite bantamweights.

A win over Sandhagen signals Song’s ascension to the division’s upper echelon. A victory for Sandhagen keeps him relevant amongst contenders at 135 pounds.

Saturday's card also features a middleweight clash between Chidi Njokuani and Gregory Rodrigues, and a tilt between heavyweights Tanner Boser and Rodrigo Nascimento.

Here are my top parlay picks for UFC Vegas 60 (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Top UFC Vegas 60 Parlay Predictions

Sandhagen (-190) ★★★★

I expect Sandhagen to be a bridge too far for Song. While Song has the requisite tools to hang with the elite at 135 pounds, Sandhagen is a proven commodity. Battle-hardened against the likes of Yan, TJ Dillashaw, Frankie Edgar, and John Lineker, “The Sandman” may not have won all of those bouts, but he acquitted himself well against some of the best bantamweights on the planet. His bout against Yan was the ultimate litmus test, as he went shot-for-shot with the former division kingpin.

A dynamic striker with sneaky good submissions, Sandhagen is the taller, longer fighter, and should blast away at Song from the outside. He’s also a slightly more accurate striker and lands at a higher rate. We also can’t discount Sandhagen’s experience in five-round fights, which could be a difference-maker if this bout drags into the championship stanzas. Of course, Song’s jaw-melting power is a cause for concern, but Sandhagen waded through the depths of hell against Yan and somehow made it to the other side.

It won’t be easy, but Sandhagen should emerge from the bloody mist with his hand raised.

Boser (-170) ★★★★

If Tanner Boser can keep upright, this is his bout to lose. The faster, more mobile fighter, Boser is the superior striker who also happens to absorb much less punishment.  His 70% takedown defense will also be likely enough to stay off his back against Nascimento, who is a venomous finisher on the floor, but isn’t exactly adept at dragging the fight there (40% takedown accuracy).

I expect Boser to piece Nascimento up on the feet, scoring a clear-cut unanimous decision or late-round stoppage.

Pyfer vs. Amedovski to end in KO/TKO/DQ (-250) ★★★★

When Joe Pyfer and Alen Amedovski grace the Octagon, chances are we’re not seeing the judge’s scorecards.

Eight of Pyfer’s nine career victories have come via stoppage, and six of those were the result of a TKO/KO. Not to be outdone in the violence department, all of Amendovski’s eight career wins have been of the TKO/KO variety. That means they’ve combined for a blistering 14 KO/TKOs in 17 victories. In fact, Pyfer and Amedovski have only combined to go the distance twice in 22 career bouts.

Quite simply, someone is visiting the shadow realm on Saturday night.

Combined odds: Sandhagen (-190) + Boser (-170) + Pyfer vs. Amedovski to end in KO/TKO/DQ (-250) = +239
