We expect Patrick Mahomes to power his team to securing the AFC West title as we make our Bengals vs. Chiefs NFL player props for Week 17 based on the best NFL odds at the NFL prop betting sites.

Despite their many issues and losing three of the last four games, the Kansas City Chiefs (9-7) can clinch the AFC West with a victory on Sunday.

Can Patrick Mahomes lead his offense to a rebound outing against a Cincinnati Bengals team still fighting for the postseason too?

In addition to our NFL Week 17 predictions and our Bengals vs. Chiefs prediction, here are our best Bengals vs. Chiefs NFL player props for Week 17 (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Bengals vs. Chiefs NFL player props: Week 17

Patrick Mahomes Over 266.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Christmas Day was a nightmare for the Chiefs as they lost to the Raiders without allowing an offensive touchdown. Although Patrick Mahomes has been a victim of a bad supporting cast and arguably bad coaching this season, it was his miscues that directly led to the Raider loss last Monday.

With a chance to lock up the AFC West in Week 17, I expect to see a more locked-in Mahomes against the depleted Bengals. Cincinnati won’t have Joe Burrow on the other side to push Mahomes to greatness, but he should find his way against the 28th-ranked pass defense in the league.

The Bengals have allowed 256.1 passing yards per game this year. Cincy has allowed opposing passing offenses to clear this line in four of its last five games. Most of our best sportsbooks list the Mahomes passing line at 270.5, so the most favorable spot at the best sports betting sites to bet the Over on this prop is FanDuel, with a line at 266.5 yards and -114 odds.

Rashee Rice Over 64.5 receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

As Kansas City has searched far and wide for reliable pass-catchers behind Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce this season, rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice has slowly settled into more consistent opportunity in the offense.

Rice didn’t see a 75% snap share until Week 14 but has now achieved it in three consecutive games. Rice has also drawn nine or more targets in five straight contests. While he has only cleared the 64.5 receiving yards mark in three of those five games, his star should shine brightly in the event of Mahomes clearing his passing line as we’re anticipating.

The Bengals have allowed the sixth-most receiving yards to opposing wide receivers of all NFL teams this season. With Rice serving as the primary WR in this attack, we expect to see him produce for what should be an offense motivated to put last week behind it.

While most of our best sportsbooks list Rice’s receiving total at 65.5 yards, we’re taking the 64.5-yard line at FanDuel with -114 odds on the Over.

Ja’Marr Chase Under 59.5 receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

At only 59.5 yards, Ja’Marr Chase’s receiving total is attainable under most circumstances. He’s failed to clear this line only five times this season. But reinjury of the shoulder seems like a genuine possibility for Chase, who has been banged up at various times throughout the season. If Sunday isn’t going Cincy’s way, I could envision a scenario in which Chase makes another early exit.

Another factor working against Chase is that the Chiefs possess the second-ranked passing defense in the NFL. Kansas City has allowed only 173.8 passing yards per game, limiting the potential for opposing wide receivers in the process. Superstar wideouts like Devante Adams, Stefon Diggs, Keenan Allen, and Tyreek Hill finished well below their typical receiving standards in matchups with the Chiefs' secondary so far this season.

The best options at the best sportsbooks for Under bettors on this prop come from bet365 (Under 58.5 yards, -110) or FanDuel (Under 59.5 yards, -114).
