TCU -4.5 (-110) ★★★★

Few on the planet would have predicted College Gameday being at this game, and the teams involved sporting 9-0 records. However, the show being on campus is one of the big reasons to like the Horned Frogs when they travel to face the Kansas Jayhawks. The novelty of the Kansas program being recognized for its early-season accomplishments can also serve as an unwanted distraction all week.

Head coach Lance Leipold has brought instant success to the Jayhawks, but TCU's Sonny Dykes has gone largely under the radar. He's the first coach in program history to win his first four games since Francis Schmidt in 1929.

TCU is hitting its stride with Max Duggan as the starting quarterback after an injury to Chandler Morris. Duggan entered the Oklahoma game with an 86.7 QBR (10th in FBS, second in the Big 12), 11.39 yards per attempt, and a completion percentage of 77%. His arm talent and mobility gave the Sooners fits, as Duggan accounted for 418 yards and five touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Iowa State's elite defense provided a blueprint for how to slow down Kansas' Jalon Daniels, who entered Week 5 with the best QBR in the FBS.

Florida State +3.5 (-110) ★★★★

A 31-21 home loss to Wake Forest in Week 5 is surely disappointing for the Seminoles. But they made so many uncharacteristic errors, and that should be corrected on the road in Week 6. For example, Florida State committed a season-high 11 penalties while allowing the Demon Deacons to convert 10-of-18 third-down opportunities after entering the week with a 31.5% third-down stop rate.

Florida State had been significantly improving under head coach Mike Norvell prior to Week 5. The Seminoles produced a minus-79 points margin from 2020 to 2021, 28 Total QBR, and 5.4 yards per play, along with a third-down percentage of 36% and a minus-8 turnover margin. However, through the first four games in 2022, they boasted a plus-75 points margin, an 84 Total QBR, 7.3 yards per play, and a plus-3 turnover, all while converting 51% of their third-down attempts.

The team used its elite pass defense (which had allowed 166 passing yards per game, the best in the ACC) to hold Sam Hartman to 234 yards, way under his career passing average. A similar performance should set the Seminoles up well against NC State's Devin Leary.

Oklahoma State -10 (-110) ★★★

Many will view this as a letdown spot for Oklahoma State after the Sooners beat the preseason Big 12 co-favorite Baylor on the road. However, Texas Tech is playing its fifth straight ranked team, and that gauntlet will catch up to the Red Raiders.

Cowboys quarterback Spencer Sanders exorcised his Baylor demons with 256 yards and two touchdowns. He entered Week 5 averaging 342 total yards per game (fifth-most in FBS), and Sanders will look to exploit a vulnerable Red Raiders defense while utilizing one of the country's deepest and most talented receiving corps.

Texas Tech has been outscored by 22 points over two road games in 2022. The environment in Week 5 and team's grueling schedule will be too much to overcome.
