World Series Game 7 Betting Report

Game 7 of the World Series is the last chance for baseball bettors to record a profit in 2014. Sportsbook Review takes a quick look through the straight-up wagering markets and cites betting stats provided by Pinnacle Sports (SBR rating A+).

Moneyline market
The Kansas City Royals are home favorites in game 7 of the World Series. SBR Odds shows the current line at Kansas City -136 (best line available at 5Dimes and Pinnacle Sports, a $136 wager wins $100).

A majority of sports bettors are backing the home favorite Royals at Pinnacle; the sportsbook has received 78% of wagers on the Royals moneyline, according to an account manager.

Total market
As for the total runs market, which has remained at 7 runs since opening, bettors are in agreement with 56% of total wagers on the over. As the total is 7 exactly, if the game outcome results in 7 runs, wagers on the over and under will be "no action" and returned.  Bettors on the over 7 need a total of 8 to cash their tickets, and bettors on the under 7 require a total of 6.

Run-line market
As for the run-line of 1.5, 95.8% of wagers are on Kansas City to cover the spread of 1.5, though Pinnacle is not at liberty to disclose the amount of money bet (volume) on this market. Sports bettors backing KC to cover -1.5 runs require the Royals to win by 2 or more, whereas those on the +1.5 -170 for the Giants win their bets if SF loses by 1 or wins outright.

The below pricing widget is powered by SBR Odds, a free odds monitoring service which updates in real-time and allows bettors to hunt for the best price on any sport at the betting site of their choice. When lines change the odds grid flashes a different color. Red signifies a change within the last 30 seconds, orange the last 60 seconds, and yellow the last 90 seconds. At the full website version of SBR Odds, players can also choose to hear line updates by sound.

*Grid removed as game completed*
