Online sportsbook news and reviews

Sportsbook Review.com provides a weekly online sportsbook industry news show for June 11th. The main topic of today's broadcast is the recent news regarding the Olympian Group's statement on their sportsbook brands and why access has been temporarily removed from all customers. Also discussed is the recent resolution of a sportsbook bonus cold case.

SBR reported yesterday that Olympian CEO Peter Karroll released the following statement:

"Only a handful of accounts were affected, and we’re confident that the perpetrators have been identified and that the fraudulent activity has been terminated. However, we have nevertheless taken the precautionary measure of closing the sportsbooks that we manage until we can fully verify the security of all player accounts," read the statement.

Karroll's finishing was rather vague to the players whose funds are currently in limbo. "We regret that the criminal activity has affected the enjoyment of legitimate players but we felt that this precautionary measure had to be taken.  We expect that all of our sportsbooks will re-open soon.”

SBR reported on June 5th that Bulldog777 Sportsbook was "temporarily closed".

SBR initiated GR88.com to the sportsbook ratings guide at D+ in January 2013. Brands Geobet and Bulldog777 have also been indexed.
