Wagerweb Sportsbook news

Wagerweb Sportsbook (SBR rating C+) has claimed that the player who filed a complaint stating he had waited 106+ days for a $3,000 check payout will instead receive multiple Person To Person withdrawals. No reason was provided on what contributed to the delay. SBR reported earlier this week that two players have made complaints against the betting site for the prolonged wait times for check payouts.

WagerWeb Sportsbook quoting up to three months?

In the sportsbook newswire posted by SBR on 22 September 2014, it was reported that for payouts in excess of $800, players are faced with inordinately long payout time-frames of up to 60 business days. One player claimed that a Wagerweb customer service representative indicated that the excessive time-frame was consistent with the industry average - SBR has not verified that the player was in fact told this.

Since the publication of the report, a player wrote in to Sportsbook Review indicating he too was frustrated by the unusually long payout times for check withdrawals. The player had the following to say:

I have 2 large withdrawals via check waiting. They have said it will be 60 days on both. I am currently on day 42 of one and 27 of the other. It is ridiculous.

SBR has asked Wagerweb for comment on the extended wait times for check payouts. SBR advises Wagerweb players with feedback or complaints to write to SBR.
