WagerUp bettor waiting for funds since July 1st

A WagerUp Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) player has reported being slow-paid. He requested $800 of his $4,161 balance on July 1st. According to email correspondence provided by the player, WagerUp pinned the blame on third party processors and has made a number of inaccurate statements suggesting the player would be paid by a given date.

WagerUp Sportsbook is part of the BTG Global family of sportsbooks. The most well known of the BTG Global sportsbooks is Dimeline Sports (SBR rating D-). Dimeline is currently slow-paying a player a $2,400 balance requested February 1. In that sportsbook complaint, Dimeline claimed that it would not prioritize the player's payment due to negative feedback posted by the user on public message boards.

BTG Global management has expressly indicated that it will not comment to SBR on player complaints and that players who seek help for being mistreated or slow-paid would be placed in the back of the financial queue.

The WagerUp player signed up late last year, losing four deposits before going on a nice run. He attempted only to draw a portion of his balance out as he was keen on continuing to bet and remain with WagerUp for the upcoming NFL and NCAAF seasons.  His ID has been fully verified and account cleared by the sportsbook.

Despite BTG's suggestion to not pursue complaints or contact the website support, SBR attempted to make contact with a representative regarding the player's pending payout. No comment has been given.

The family of sportsbooks have been downgraded from D+ to D-.
