Underdog betting could potentially pay off big in the 2015 men's NCAA tournament.

What was once a 300 to 1 lottery ticket can now be found for an average price of 100 to 1; the biggest odds swing of the tournament to date.

Other substantial moves include the NC State Wolfpack moving from a 200 to 1 underdogs to an average of 55 to 1.

This means if you had bet NC State pre-tournament, a $100 wager would return $20,000 in profit, whereas now, a $100 bet will get you "only" $5,500.

The 150 to 1 odds on the Xavier Musketeers can now be found at an average payoff of 110 to 1.

These betting odds movements were highlighted in a piece quoting SportsbookReview.com on CNBC today.

As for game by game betting, the SBR Odds consensus patterns show 58% of point spread wagers on Duke to cover against Utah, scheduled for tipoff tomorrow night at 9:45pm ET.

60% of bettors are backing 7 seed Michigan State to cover the -2 spread against 3 seeded Oklahoma.

As for wagering on the total number of points scored, the most lopsided consensus comes with Wichita State vs. Notre Dame; 66% of bettors are in agreement that the total will land over 138 points.
