Tipico Player has €6127 Sportsbook Balance Frozen

Share with:

A Tipico Sportsbook (SBR rating C) player has filed a sportsbook complaint.

The player has claimed that his sports betting account was frozen with an available balance of €6,127.

The player was apparently accused of operating more than one sportsbook account, and has adamantly denied this accusation. The player's account was swiftly closed by Tipico before the player had a chance to contest the ruling. He had previously made one successful withdrawal of funds using the bookmaker.

In the event that Tipico is unwilling to review the player's identity documents or discuss their decision to freeze his funds, the player's recourse is to follow up with the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) to lodge a complaint. Tipico holds license MGA/CL2/180/2004 which was issued March 1, 2005, and would be bound by whatever ruling the MGA makes regarding the player's funds.

Sportsbook Review has asked Tipico to weigh in and will update this report in the event that pertinent information related to the case becomes available. Tipico players with feedback to share are encouraged to write to mail@sportsbookreview.com.
