Tipbet player submits general feedback on KYC process

A Tipbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C) player has filed a sportsbook complaint.

The player deposited a total of €80 to the sports betting site overfour transactions.

His account was later verified and he was told by support he was cleared to make further deposits or withdrawals as he desired.

After putting in for a small withdrawal, the player was asked to show proof of his making the deposits via his Skrill account. He is unhappy because he feels like he is having to jump through hoops when he has already sent a copy of his ID, utility bill, and deposited successfully through Skrill.

SBR has advised the player to take a screen capture of his Skrill account and send it to Tipbet to complete the verification of his account.

Players commonly express frustration at the need to send everything except a vial of their blood to betting sites to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process, however, there is a very good reason for performing KYC as SBR detailed in this article.
