Super Bowl 52 Odds: Patriots Favored to Repeat

Online sports bettors may still be in celebration mode after the historic New England Patriots victory against the Atlanta Falcons at Super Bowl LI, but it is business as usual at bookmakers; sportsbooks have already released odds on the winner of the 52nd Super Bowl, otherwise known as Super Bowl LII.

Sportsbook Review is showing all early Super Bowl winner odds in the NFL betting futures directory. While anything can happen between now and the start of the 2017-18 NFL regular season, futures give players a glimpse into how bookmakers rate each team's chances of making it deep into the playoffs and provide more beneficial payouts now than just before the start of the season.

The reason is simple: As sportsbooks receive more wagers on each team, lines become sharpened and adjusted and players who are late to the party betting an outright may be shortchanged 50% or more on the price they could have had. The Atlanta Falcons were trading as high as 100 to 1 at one point last year.

After three to four days of early market movement, the top six teams according to the betting odds are listed below.

New England Patriots
The New England Patriots have been set at +450 to repeat, so a $100 wager pays back $450.

Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys are trading as the second most likely team to win the Lombardi Trophy at the betting odds of +850.

Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers are in third place with odds of +1100 to win it all.

Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons have been set at +1200; a surprising reversal of fortune given how close the Dirty Birds were to upsetting Tom Brady and company last weekend.

Pittsburgh Steelers & Oakland Raiders
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders have been set with the betting odds of +1500 respectively.
