Sports BIT: NBA Finals & Biggest 2017 College Football Games

Cleveland Cavaliers At Golden State Warriors

It’s one of the most anticipated NBA Finals in history as the Cavaliers and Warriors meet for the unprecedented third straight Finals – the rubber match with Golden State winning it in 2015 and Cleveland last year. It’s truly a star-studded matchup with seven All-Stars from this season, only the third time that many have been represented in the Finals: LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love on the Cavs, and Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green on the Warriors. These two teams are a combined 24-1 in these playoffs, the fewest losses of any two teams in the Finals under the current playoff format (1984). They are beating their opponents by a combined point differential of around 30 points in the postseason. The most important player in the series could actually be a reserve: Golden State sixth man Andre Iguodala. There’s no such thing as a LeBron-stopper, but Iguodala understands guarding James about as well as anyone ever has. Iggy hasn’t played much in this postseason due to a knee injury, but the Dubs simply might have been saving him. Golden State is a -260 series favorite at Sportsbook Review’s top-rated betting sites. It’s the sixth time LeBron James has been a Finals underdog. Michael Jordan’s teams were never underdogs.

Deep Dive On College Football Games Of Year

As of May 30, there are just 86 days until the 2017 college football season kicks off from Australia with Stanford facing Rice. That’s not exactly a big game, but Teddy & Pauly look at some likely games of the year and their early lines at the sportsbooks. You have Alabama-Florida State in Week 1, with the Tide at -7. They could be the top two teams in the polls. Week 2 has Oklahoma at Ohio State, and they will both be in the Top 10. The Buckeyes crushed the Sooners in Norman last year and are currently -8. Week 3 features Louisville hosting Clemson, with the Cardinals -2 over the defending national champions. Ohio State is also an early 8-point favorite for the annual regular-season finale vs. Michigan, this year in Ann Arbor. Alabama is just a 3.5-point favorite for the Iron Bowl at Auburn.
