Scam sportsbook alert on WSEX

Share with:

WSEX Sportsbook (SBR rating F) continues to operate despite being unable to pay its players. A player owed $1,500 wrote in to SBR seemingly unaware that the sportsbook has been running on fumes since 2010. WSEX is no longer making an effort to pay players but has not ceased marketing to new clients or designing bonus programs to solicit more deposits.

WSEX, or World Sports Exchange, was once a highly rated sportsbook company by SBR and many other watchdog sites. Payout problems first surfaced in the first quarter of 2009. Many players were able to successfully receive their funds in time, though despite their problems the brand remained recognizable and managed to grow its player base even while things were headed downward.

More than 200 WSEX players are owed approximately $1 million.
