Roger Federer vs. Rafael Nadal. The enduring battle that never gets old.
SBR Forum members are currently dissecting the tennis odds set by bookmakers which has Nadal as a slight favorite at -115 for this weekend's Australian Open Grand Slam championship.
After early round upsets dismissed Djokovic and Murray, Federer and Nadal are the last two standing.
Excerpts from Tennis Betting Forum.
SBR Forum member GoBlue77 opened up the post with the following pithy message: "Fed +115. Dumbest thing I've ever seen."
Poster Goat Milk had a bit more to get off his chest: "Line won't last. Should be closer to a PK. Not really that dumb. Nadal is currently the best player in the world. Said it after round 1 of tournament. Just needed to see 1 match. But Federer will be a bit too much on this quick surface. U.S. open hardcourts though -- Nadal would probably win that one. These courts playing faster than any major over last few years."
BettingMosquito had the following opinion: "Almost everytime Federer is favored by the bookies and the market against Nadal in slams, he loses... I was expecting Nadal to be around 1.60 but I see him at 1.87. I will back him for sure. I see value above 1.75."
