Redbet Sportsbook vs. Player: €625 Balance Voided

Share with:

A Redbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C) player has filed a complaint.

The player shared that he signed up for the betting site and deposited €200 after receiving a bonus code via email.

He proceeded to complete his play-through obligation before asking for a payout. His balance at this time was €625.

Redbet then forfeited the winnings and refunded the initial deposit of €200 due to the player's IP address reportedly matching another player. The player adamantly contests this and has supplied the name of his Internet Service Provider (ISP). He maintains that there would have been no one else in his residence to place bets, suggesting the possibility of a recycled or a dynamic IP with others in his vicinity.

SBR has asked Redbet about this possibility. Unless a user has a fixed IP address plan, it is possible that IPs change and become recycled, though normally in cases such as this there would be additional common links between accounts suggesting bonus fraud.
