Rating Change: Fonbet Sportsbook Lowered to C-

Share with:

Sportsbook Review originally reported on March 8 that a Fonbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player required assistance.

The user had opened his sports betting account with Fonbet many years prior, but had stopped playing after being limited substantially by the bookmaker. On February 27 of this year he redeposited €100 for an in-play match bet bonus.

The player went on to wager anywhere between €30-€50 per play and later redeposited an additional €300. Fonbet went on to lock his betting account, and requested he provide a number of documents associated with the Know Your Customer (KYC) process in place at the online sports betting site. The player maintains that he provided all documents requested of him and yet his account remains suspended without his funds being paid. Additionally, he has not been reimbursed his deposits.

Fonbet has declined to discuss the case with Sportsbook Review. The player's only recourse at this point is to attempt to launch a complaint with the Curacao e-Gaming division.

Fonbet's rating has been lowered to C-.

Fonbet players in need of assistance are asked to submit a sportsbook complaint form.
