The worst online scam sportsbooks

#5: BetOnline247 Sportsbook (SBR rating D-)
Operating out of San Pedro, Costa Rica, BetOnline247 claims to be regulated by the government of Costa Rica. The claim is not accurate; sportsbooks in Costa Rica are not subject to government regulation. The dishonest claim is likely an attempt to sway player confidence. BetOnline247's business model targets European clients. SBR has received 40 current payment complaints from BetOnline247 players.

#4: WSEX Sportsbook (SBR rating D-)WSEX Sportsbook was added to the SBR blacklist on March 1st, 2011. WSEX is slow-paying 48 players $431,817. Ten of the players are owed from 2011, with the rest dating as far back as February of 2010. WSEX management concedes that payout time is dictated by the size of the withdrawal.

#3: SBG Global (SBR rating D-)
SBG Global's history of unjust confiscations is documented on the SBG Global Review page. The most notorious incident of theft occurred when SBG acquired BetRoyal in 2008. SBG decided to nullify $500,000 in winnings from a group of players. SBG maintains a D- rating due to some players receiving payment and the length of time between confiscations.

#2: CreditWagering Sportsbook (SBR rating F)
CreditWagering Sportsbook is an outright scam. Players are given a $1,000 credit line if they submit a copy of their drivers license to the sportsbook. Beginning as a pyramid scheme, CreditWagering players initially reported being paid their funds. CreditWagering stopped paying players in August of 2010. SBR records indicate that CW's debt exceeds $25,000.

#1: Oddsmaker Sportsbook (SBR rating F)
Oddsmaker Sportsbook has recently confiscated $186,132 from players. Oddsmaker openly steals winnings from players that are determined to be professionals. Oddsmaker uses the stolen funds to finance elaborate marketing campaigns, sending snail mail fliars to apartment complexes across the United States. Oddsmaker's visibility and the likelihood that players are scammed make it the current #1 worst online sportsbook in the world.

An explanation of the Sportsbook Review Blacklist:

D- rated sportsbooks
Sportsbooks that carry a D- rating will normally pay some players, while slow-paying others and making unjust confiscations from winning players. These sportsbooks often refuse to communicate with Sportsbook Review if a player asks for help.

F rated sportsbooks
Sportsbooks rated F are considered outright scams. Players stand a very low chance of receiving winnings from these rogue outfits.
