Avoid Oddsmaker Sportsbook scam

An Oddsmaker.com (SBR rating F) player who received a 100% deposit bonus promotion in the mail has submitted an SBR complaint. The player claims the Oddsmaker promo was absent from the terms and conditions. The player deposited $50, before realizing the host of fineprint attached to the promo as he attempted a $165 withdrawal. Oddsmaker is known for their deceptive marketing practices and for unfairly voiding winnings. Oddsmaker is an F-rated sportsbook on the SBR blacklist, and has confiscated well over $250,000 from winning players to date. SBR urges players to avoid the sportsbook.

5Dimes Sportsbook update

5Dimes (SBR rating A+) management has told SBR that players are being asked to update their bookmarks of the 5Dimes website to 5Dimes.eu. SBR was told that the .com website may experience intermittent technical issues.  This also applies for sister sites VietBet, ChineseBookie, Sportbet and BetAnySports. 5Dimes recently won the annual SBR forum poster’s poll of top online sportsbooks. This marks the second year in a row that 5Dimes has been voted the top bookmaker by the SBR community.

Winning BetSafe casino player dispute

A winning BetSafe.com (SBR rating C-) casino player has told SBR that his account has been locked. The player claims to have lost 8,000 euros in roulette after opening his account. He later re-deposited 3,000 euros and this time, with a hot hand, increased his balance to 9,000 euros. Following a payout request, BetSafe locked the account. The player told SBR that all of his documents are on file with BetSafe, including his ID card, driver’s license, birth certificate and proof of address. He also clarifies that he received no bonuses of any kind from BetSafe, ruling out potential bonus fraud. SBR has followed up with Betsafe for comment. Betsafe players with feedback are asked to write to help@sportsbookreview.com.

Globet Sportsbook outstanding slow-pays

SBR has received five slow-pay complaints from Globet (SBR rating D+) players. Players have reported being owed more than 10,000 euros with the longest delay over two months. In addition to the payment complaints, a  Globet player has reported that his bets are rejected by the sportsbook, rendering him unable to complete bonus rollover. SBR’s Justin7 made several attempts to contact Globet regarding the claim.

Heritage to refund Green Bay Packers wagers

Heritage Sportsbook (SBR rating A)  has credited all players that wagered $100 or more on the Green Bay Packers with a freeplay, following the controversial ending to the Monday Night Football game. Replacement officials awarded Seattle with a touchdown as time expired, changing the outcome of the moneyline and pointspread winner. According to ESPN, there was a swing in Las Vegas of approximately $150+ million due to the botched call. The SBR newswire has more details on the Heritage promo and how offshore sportsbooks made out on the game.
