NFL Sunday Sportsbook Betting Recap: Players Win Overall
It was a good day for sports bettors on NFL Sunday.
Seven public sides covered the spread easily including big wins by the New England Patriots covering as 10 point road chalk against the Cleveland Browns. Tom Brady showed no signs of rust as he lit up the Browns defense and cashed a multitude of betting tickets for players across the globe.
The Pittsburgh Steelers lost the first half despite 93% of bettors having plunked down a bet on the Jets to get off to a bad start. Big Ben and company came back strong and routed the Jets in the second half surrending no points and winning by twenty points, easily covering the 9.5 point spread.
In a loser for the public the Denver Broncos had their unbeaten streak snapped and lost at home as -3.5 to -4 point favorites against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Dallas Cowboys were somehow made small home dogs against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals and players easily won on the spread and money line.
The Green Bay Packers won by exactly seven against the NY Giants which either resulted in a push, a loss, or a win depending on if a player bought a half-point or more.
