Luxbet player feels trapped with his sportsbook bonus rollover
A Luxbet Sportsbook player has filed a complaint against the betting site with SBR.
The player was given a £150 sportsbook bonus and managed to profit £675 using the bonus cash.
He then reports that Luxbet turned on their risk management controls and have rejected several of his wagers, causing him to feel "trapped" in his attempt to complete the play-through.
It is not unusual for online sportsbooks to actively limit or restrict players from making certain wagers. However, when it becomes clear that a business does not want a player's action, it is best for the sportsbook to cut the player loose and prorate his bonus, paying all winnings.
Sportsbook Review has followed up on the complaint.
Luxbet player: "I opened account with luxbet. Given £150 bonus bet. Won £675 with bonus. Terms and conditions state deposit and bonus plus any bonus winnings must be rolled over at odds 1.5 or more inside 30 days.Luxbet accept bets when and if they please making the rollover extremely difficult and very stressful. The bets I tried to place were not arbitrage situations or even top price with them but they still were not accepting bets and only accepting £50 at 1.5 instead of £250 I asked for. This wasted an awful lot of my time and I found it really stressful as if it was not completed in 30 days they have the right to void the bonus and winnings.I eventually completed the rollover, but I would like to inform you this company is no good and to warn any other potentional luxbet users of what they are like. If you manage to win with the bonus bet you are basically trapped."
