Jetwin Sportsbook Complaint over ID verification
A Jetwin Sportsbook (SBR rating C+) complaint has been filed.
A player claimed he has deposited the equivalent of $4,500 with the bitcoin sports betting site.
He verified his phone number to complete his registration and received a no-deposit bonus.
After completing the rollover requirement, his balance was increased to $1,400 in profit.
At this point, he was asked to send a scanned copy of his passport and utility bill, which is unusual for a bitcoin exclusive sportsbook. He obliged, and was then asked to provide a photo holding his ID next to his face (a "selfie").
A few more emails were exchanged concerning the quality of his provided scans; the player pointed out his scans are the same he provided established bookmakers to satisfy their Know Your Customer (KYC) process, and believes that JetWin is unnecessarily stalling his payout request.
The player forwarded a complete copy of his correspondence with Jetwin to Sportsbook Review.
Jetwin was added to the online sportsbooks rating guide in July of 2015.
SBR has asked Jetwin if the player is through with his KYC process and free to receive payment.
