HitItBet news

HitItBet Sportsbook (SBR rating C+) is confiscating funds from players who are believed to have violated house rules. These funds are allegedly being donated to charity, apparently with the rubberstamping of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. Violations include alleged bonus misuse or account misconduct.

A player has come forward indicating €1,579 has been confiscated from his account for no specific reason.

HitItBet previously enforced this bizarre rule on players that failed to provide ID within two months, before removing it at the request of SBR.

SBR is attempting to reason with management.

HitItBet's full email to player:

"Please be advised that your HitItBet.com account has been closed for gross misconduct and disregard for the rules and regulations outlined in HitItBet.com policies. Your account has been closed and you are no longer permitted to make further deposits, wagers, withdrawals or open a new account with www.HitItBet.com

The proceeds of your account will be donated to charity.

We have informed our regulator, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission of the status of your account and our actions."

SBR has followed up with the sportsbook on the case.
