Heritage Sportsbook upgrade, enhancements in 2012

Heritage Sportsbook (SBR rating A) has generated consistently positive player reviews since its large takeover of BetJamaica and US-based TheGreek accounts in the summer of 2011. Sportsbook Review takes a look at the enhancements Heritage Sports has made in the past year in this exclusive report.

Heritage Sports' acquisition of BetJamaica (SBR rating A+), TheGreek (SBR rating A+) US players

Many in the industry were shocked when BetJamaica officially closed, and TheGreek made the decision to no longer book US players. Thousands of customers were uncertain of what they would do next. All these players knew is that after many years with those rock-solid companies, their home would be changing. Heritage Sports was that home.

Heritage more than tripled its customer base. As a result of its growth, Heritage expanded its staff and helped stimulate the Costa Rican economy in one fell swoop. Heritage not only filled its ranks with capable customer service agents, but spent top-dollar on more high tech professionals to ensure that the player experience never dropped below what existing Heritage players have long been accustomed to.

Heritage allowed its new players to cash-out immediately in full with no hoops to jump through if they wished. No rollover was enforced. Players quickly began to realize that Heritage Sports, the long-time invite only sportsbook, was truly a sportsbook that cared about getting it right.

Heritage letter to new account-holders: "We hope the transition has gone well for you.  I know we had a hiccup or two, but if you have any issues whatsoever please contact us.  We are here to make sure you are comfortable. This was not a “slam-dunk” decision on our part.  As you know we have an existing client base that we are very protective over but The Greek was very persuasive in wanting to find a good home for you all and so we gave his companies all of our invitations this year. "

Heritage offers players the ability to use a "Rate Us" feature where they are able to transmit feedback directly to software developers. Management tells SBR that many new features are in the works, allowing players to feel as if they've never left the computer screen.
