Fonbet Sportsbook player submits KYC complaint

Share with:

A Fonbet Sportsbook player has filed a complaint.

The player has claimed he has attempted to place a withdrawal for more than two weeks from the sports betting site unsuccessfully.

He has complied with the request to show a picture holding his passport but this has not satisfied the online sportsbook's KYC request.

In cases such as this, where this is a dispute over the authenticity of documents, SBR often suggests players have the documents certified by a public notary, though this is not always a resolution it can help demonstrate good will on the part of the player.

Online sportsbooks are looking to protect their bottomline from fraudsters and accounts created simply to receive more than one sportsbook bonus, and also to maintain compliance with their gaming licensors who have strict identity verification requirements.

SBR has contacted Fonbet and asked if the player notarizing his documents would help approve his account for withdrawal.
