Canbet racks up more payout complaints, SBR iGaming News

Betsafe Sportsbook management is now looking into the alleged €22,500 confiscation originally reported by SBR October 26. In that dispute, a player reported that he made two successful withdrawals before his balance was erased. The player claimed that all of his documents were on file with Betsafe and verified, and that no explanation was given by the sportsbook. In September of 2012, SBR reported that a Betsafe casino player had his account locked. Two weeks prior to that report, the Betsafe rating was lowered from C+ to C-. Player reports have generally consisted of lackluster customer service. Betsafe players with feedback are encouraged to write to SBR.
A Cashpoint Sportsbook player has submitted a sportsbook complaint. On November 1, the player made deposits totaling €900 via popular eWallet service Skrill, formerly known as Moneybookers. After accumulating a balance of €2,870, Cashpoint reportedly blocked the account and requested documents, which is where the situation took a turn for the worse. The player claims that after providing his ID documents - in this case a front and back of his national ID card - Cashpoint restricted his account access and indicated that his winnings would be confiscated. The player was reportedly told that his only option would be to provide alternate documents to have a chance at releasing his deposit back to him. Cashpoint has yet to provide comment on the case.
Approximately 60 slow-pay complaints have been submitted by Canbet players. These users are owed over $75,000. Around ten players have reported receiving payment but new complaints continue to be submitted. Canbet management recently provided a statement to SBR blaming technical issues for the financial hiccups. Canbet players have also voiced their outrage on the financial mess inside of the SBR posting forum. The SBR Sportsbook & Industry forum is a free gathering place where online bettors and casino gamblers share feedback on their sportsbook experiences. Canbet users that have not already done so are asked to file an SBR complaint.
