BoogieBet explains bonus snafu

BoogieBet (SBR rating D) has been the subject of free bet complaints this past week. Players have written to SBR stating that after depositing £25 in accordance with a free bet promotion, the matching bonus has not been applied.

Following SBR's inquiry into the bonus complaints, BoogieBet management addressed the situation stating that a database error has caused the bonus snafu. BoogieBet claims that they are in the process of resolving this issue and states that all effected players will be credited with their free bet.

BoogieBet: We have been unable to provide the player with a freebet in the timely fashion we had planned due to a database error. We are currently aiming to resolve this and once it is ALL players who qualify will receive the freebet. All players affected have been emailed of this issue and they will be updated as we receive more information.
On March 17th, SBR reported on BoogieBet live wagering disputes. Three players claimed that winning bets were nullified by the sportsbook. BoogieBet argued in the case that the odds were not up to date when the players placed the wagers.

SBR suggested that in cases where the sportsbook is not quick enough to a line-change, that players do not suffer as a result of a line manager falling asleep at the wheel, as it is referred to in the sportsbook industry.
