Bitcoin sportsbook Cloudbet comments on parlay grading complaint

Sportsbook Review reported on March 26 that a Cloudbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C+) player had filed a wagering complaint.

The online bettor complained that his three-team parlay was graded as a loss instead of paying out as a two-teamer, as he claimed his third parlay leg resulted in a push instead of a loss.

The third leg was a golf match up wager between Rory McIlroy and Kevin Na. Both golfers shot the same score on the match up in question, however Cloudbet has addressed this complaint with SBR and claimed that the market was three-way, meaning that the "draw" was the valid, winning option for this wager.

As a result, Cloudbet has stated that their grading of the parlay was correct.

SBR noted in its original report that the player shared his parlay wagering ticket, though it listed the sides he selected and it was unclear if Cloudbet had offered the draw as an option for golf.

Cloudbet players have complained in the past about the grading of wagers at the online sportsbook, though most were on tardy grading.
