Sports bettors who haven't yet ordered a withdrawal following Super Bowl LI and who are holding their bankrolls in bitcoin will be happy to see the price of the digital currency this morning.

Bitcoin had a high of $1,056 at Bitstamp in the middle of the trading day local time. Bitcoin appreciates in value even while stored in BTC wallets or at BTC exclusive betting sites.

Some gamblers have been hesitant to move over to bitcoin due to a fear of the daily swings moving against them instead of in their favor. There is a simple solution to offset this risk: Play with bitcoin sportsbooks that convert deposits into USD (or your native currency). The sportsbook rating guide shows the betting sites that offer this feature.

The chart below shows bitcoin's fluctuations to start 2017. Bitcoin hit a three year high earlier last month getting back into the $1,000 and up territory.
