Betting Sites Taking Wagers on 3rd Presidential Debate
Online sportsbooks are accepting wagers on the third presidential debate taking place tonight between Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton.
One sports betting site has spread odds on whether or not this debate will outperform the first debate in cable ratings. The third and final debate is a -600 betting favorite to have more viewers than the highly contentious first debate.
Sports bettors can add to their bankrolls if Donald Trump even references "Bill Clinton" during the 90-minute debate. Trump mentioning the former President is set at -400 odds, meaning a $400 wager returns $100 in profit.
Donna Brazile's name being mentioned is set at -175 odds. Brazile allegedly provided a question to Hillary Clinton's team in advance of a town hall meeting earlier in the year concerning the death penalty, violating every shred of journalism ethics if the Wiki Leaks released emails are to be believed.
The phrase "Locker Room Talk" commands -150 betting odds. Trump referred to locker room talk during the second debate when questioned on comments he made in 2005 to Billy Bush discussing his sexual advances on women.
"Make America Great Again" is a phrase that pays out at -375 odds.
Hillary Clinton referring to Trump's supporters once again as a basket of deplorables is offered at +2500. Perhaps the most enticing wager — and possibly a drinking game for some — is the number of times in which Clinton will refer to "Donald"; the line is currently set at over 20.5 times said at -165 odds.
Clinton referring to Trump university during the course of the debate is set at +175.
