Betoto Sportsbook player complaint

A Betoto (SBR rating C+) player files a sportsbook complaint. The player tells SBR that he requested payment one week ago for $5,000. Betoto reportedly suspended the player's account—which he has held for years in good standing—asking for proof of ID. The player reports that he already provided his documents when creating his account, but obliged the request.

The player again sent all verification documents requested of him, but notes that his account remains suspended. His withdrawal of $5,000 has not been processed. The player states that his only dispute concerning his account/payout status has been that the security department is still checking his account.

SBR is following up on this sportsbook dispute.

Betoto Sportsbook is headquartered in Gibraltar and uses Chartwell software. Betoto is powered by the BAW Group, and does not service players from the US.

The last Betoto news item came in November of 2010, when SBR reported that a player who had €733 frozen by the sportsbook had his account reinstated. SBR agreed not to disclose what contibuted to the account suspension for security reasons.
