BetHorizon player receives balance

A BetHorizon (SBR rating C+) player has confirmed receiving his balance. The player had been attempting to withdraw £1,000 since March 1st, 2011. BetHorizon conceded that there are problems paying players via Moneybookers depending on the time of year. | BetHorizon comment to player

BetHorizon explained to the player on March 8th why paying him via Moneybookers was such a challenge:

BetHorizon management: We always pay our customers in full though on occasion the MoneyBookers option does pose a minor difficulty at times when player activity suddenly drops off at certain times of he year. We usually use incoming funds for MoneyBookers to quickly pay withdrawals( which is what most books do). When the volume drops then we have to process wire transfers to fund the account which has become more and more difficult with legislation issues. Unlike MoneyGram and Western Union which is easy to work with. So I would like to assure you that you will be paid in full, we pay all of our winners... it will just take a little more time to accommodate you and I appreciate your concern for any damage that negative press may have on us. So I am asking for some additional time to take care of the MoneyBookers issue and I personally promise you we will have you taken care of soon.

Despite the promise that the small withdrawal would be paid soon, the player sent multiple emails to BetHorizon before stating on April 12th that he would be filing a complaint if the sportsbook does not issue payment.

SBR contacted BetHorizon, and an alternate payout method was arranged for the player. The player has confirmed receiving his £1,000 balance.

While BetHorizon has been open to discussing complaints and resolving matters that SBR brings to its attention, there is concern that players are needlessly delayed until making their complaints public. BetHorizon players with feedback are asked to contact Sportsbook Review.

Players in need of sportsbook assistance are asked to fill out a sportsbook complaint form. Alternatively, players may reach SBR by writing to help@sportsbookreview.com, or by dialing  830-515-4122  seven days a week during normal business hours.
