Update 2/21, 10AM ET: The player was shown to have defrauded the sportsbook. The dispute was satisfactorily resolved by BetClic.

On January 12th, SBR reported that a BetClic Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) player filed an account dispute. The player claimed that his account was suspended six months ago with a €151 balance. He also claimed his documents were verified. SBR followed up with BetClic Sportsbook management for comment on this case.

A BetClic manager claimed that this player was suspected of being linked with multiple other users, and that a further level of verification was required. The player was asked to provide a photo holding their passport in order to rule out fraud concerns.
