A BetAtHome (SBR rating C-) player submits an account dispute. The player tells SBR that during the start of the EURO 2012, he deposited £300 in exchange for a bonus of £300. The player completed his wagering requirements, increasing his balance to £2,500. After the player produced ID and ordered a payout, BetAtHome noted that his account was in violation of their T&C.

The player's explanation of the chain of events at

BetAtHome player: "I recently deposited at bet at home taking advantage of there 50% offer for euro 2012 . i deposited £300 and was given a bonus of £150. during the tournament. i completed the wagering and won approx £2500. i supplied id to bet at home and then when i hadnt heard anything for three days enquired only to be told the account was locked. explained to bet at home my account was opened from my home address on my internet  and since then my son and wife  have come to live with me bringing there cable internet. they have not taken advantage of the above promotion and there was only one account opened from this address.i think bet at home wouldnt be doing this if i only had a £100 to withdraw and feel i am being discriminated against. please can you help."

BetAtHome's note to the player:

BetAtHome to player: "The betting account has been locked, because we have detected, that there have been multiple registrations from your computer, that redeemed bonuses. Please note, that this is a violation of our voucher terms and conditions."

SBR confirmed in a subsequent discussion with the player that both his wife and son operated a BetAtHome account, each receiving a sign-up bonus. The player claimed that the family members opened and accessed their accounts from different locations, corresponding to a different physical location.

SBR notes that players should not attempt to defraud sportsbooks out of giving multiple first deposit bonuses. SBR is following up with BetAtHome to inquire on how the player's activity was unnoticed until he attempted a withdrawal.
