5Dimes Sportsbook and Casino (SBR rating A+) in review: SBR takes a look at the widely popular Costa Rica based sportsbook's advancements in the last calendar year — including new additions, features, betting enhancements and other user perks. 5Dimes Sportsbook was established in 1999 and offers players a wide array of sports markets per day.

Addition of new poker network

5Dimes Sportsbook has added another poker network into the mix - the Equity Poker Network (EPN). Players who are logged into the 5Dimes homepage can jump in on the fun by clicking the Open Waters Poker Room tab. Tournament games and ring game tables are made available.

Addition of new casino software

SBR reported in January 2013 that 5Dimes Sportsbook added the world-class RTG games to its existing casino selection, which already includes Digital Gaming Solutions (DGS) games. Dubbed "The Grand Casino", the casino features more than 200 unique games, including traditional player favorites such as Blackjack, Baccarat, Pai Gow, Roulette, and Craps. The software is different from 5Dimes existing DGS option as it is accessed through a downloadable lobby application.

5Dimes has also added another Live Dealer assortment of games using the state of the art technology provided by Global Gaming Labs (GGL).

Hardware upgrades

5Dimes Sportsbook made considerable improvements to their hardware, ensuring more up-time for users during peak traffic periods and busy gameday weekends.

Exotic payouts changes

5Dimes refreshed their parlay and teaser odds to add more value to players — These exotics pay out a higher percent than any other online sportsbook to date from top to bottom.

Consistently rated number one by SBR community

5Dimes Sportsbook has been ranked first place 4 of the last 5 polls by the SBR posting community. SBR runs a posters' poll to determine its community members favorite online sportsbook each quarter of the year. Player feedback has remained consistent throughout.

5Dimes Sportsbook is a platform that appeals to both professional and recreational sports bettors alike. The business has evolved with each passing year and in any given day spreads over fifty sports markets, including live in-play betting, props, futures, and many other derivatives. The sportsbook is often the first to release sporting event odds, and was the first to spread a line on the Mayweather vs Alvarez super-fight earlier in the year.
