The SBGglobal (SBR rating D-) bettor was credited with a $7,500 "bailout" after PlayersTime (SBR rating F) closed. A three time roll-over (wagering a total of $22,500) was required. The player wagered his funds for two months surpassing the rollover requirement and winning his balance, which then should have been his free and clear, up to $25,000. SBG confiscated this money, again citing "sharp action" as a reason for deleting player balances. SBG also tells SBR that the player was able to wager $2,000 per parlay and should have been limited to $1,000 despite what the software allowed him to risk. This same operation also stiffed players whose accounts were purchased from SunsetSports (SBR rating F), claiming the players violated rules by being sharp and having "inside info". Scam alert on BetOnSportsOnline

11.07.2006

BetOnSportsOnline (SBR rating F) Warning
This scam operation continues to steal from players. The book’s owner has contacted SBR refuting the scam label but fails to fulfill new promises to pay.

Player: Every time I call customer support at BetonSportsOnline. I am still getting the run around.  The person they say I need to speak with, Alonzo, is never there when I call and never calls back when I leave a message.  They do not respond to emails, neither do they assist you in anyway when you use the Live Chat function.  I don’t know where they are at as far as processing withdrawals.  I would definitely withdraw out all my funds if I could get to them.

Some sellers of political contracts on TradeSports.com will see their profits erased. The exchange-style sportsbook has applied its new fee structure on future markets that are already in play. Traders contend that this is the equivalent of a sportsbook altering the payout of a wager after it was accepted. TradeSports has received two straight downgrades from B- to C+ due to costly errors in setting predicition markets and complaints regarding the new fee structure. SBR expects additional complaints once political contracts are settled.

"I started with $60.00 dollars ( I am not a big gambler) I made a few small plays - won some - lost some. Then I received a coupon in the mail for this $50.00. It instructed me to go to there web page and enter the code number to get the free $50.00. I did this and they put the money in my account along with my other cash. Bet365 players complain of inadequate rule change notifications

10.31.2006

Bet365 (SBR rating A+) players complain of inadequate rule change notification. SBR has received three complaints from users who say they were unaware of recent rule changes that were the difference between winning and losing wagers. Bet365 changed their wagering rules, making overtime in all basketball leagues count for over-under wagers. Most Bet365 users are likely finding out about rule change when their bet on a game that went into overtime is graded.

Beginning January 1st, 2007, all sportsbooks on SBR’s Top Sportsbook List will be required to offer a ’policy updates’ log or another method of alerting players of policy changes.

Player: "European basketball has never counted overtime! How am i supposed to know?? Should I refresh the rules page along with the odds?? At least Pinnacle announces the new rule at top of main page and other book will email you. If Bet 365 would highlight all rule changes for that month it would at least be reasonable to scan over a book of rules. This is crap".
