Bet911 cancels player's wager claiming bad line

08.26.2007
Bet911 (SBR rating D+) cancels player's $100 wager at +690 claiming it was a bad line. The bettor has provided detailed betting odds history from other major sportsbooks showing the price ranging from +650 to +750. Bet911 customer service claims the payout should have been lowered to +500 and therefore is not a valid bet. SBR has asked Bet911 to reconsider the decision as a failure to change odds does not constitute an obvious error or a bad line.

Update 7:40 PM CST: Bet911 management apologizes and credits player full winnings.

BookMaker (SBR rating A+) officially takes over  Superiorbook (SBR rating D+) as well as accounts from sister no-pay sportsbook, BetEmpire (SBR rating F). Bookmaker has erased the rollover  requirement previously imposed by the internal Empire/Superior "merger." Players now have full acess to wagering and their funds.

Operations Director of Superiorbook and BetEmpire quoted in the Bookmaker press release:
Mr. Jimmy Mason, Operations Director of SuperiorBook.com: I can not stress how pleased I am that Bookmaker.com came to the rescue of our former players. Bookmaker.com has gone above and beyond anything I have seen in this industry and continues to show why they are an A+ operation. Futurebet's G2Gbet Sportsbook stiffing users

08.23.2007
Little hope left for G2Gbet (SBR rating F) victims
Former G2Gbet host and full service provider, Futurebet has denied that it serviced the failed sportsbook despite cached internet web pages proving otherwise. Futurebet was responsible for all services given to bettors under the webmaster domain name G2Gbet.com including software and accounting. In the past, SportsbookUSA, the Futurebet flagship sportsbook brand, has taken over account balances of failed Futurebet white labels. This does not appear to be the case with G2G. Many Futurebet employees report being laid off and others have reported not being paid their salary in over two months. Players can expect multiple downgrades of sportsbooks in the Futurebet Family. BetChance (SBR rating D) complaints pour into the SBR mailbox

08.22.2007
29 players reported slow-pays by Moneybookers, bank wires and credit cards in the month of August. The company owes an estimated $50,000 USD to these players and currently only offers instructions for how to redeem funds up to the amount deposited. The sportsbook blames technical issues and a large amount of simultaneous payout requests for these delays. BetChance has failed to respond to many of these users by email and phone calls have not been answered. Players are advised to pursue withdrawals as soon as possible from BetChance, which has been downgraded from D+ to D today.

Premierbet (SBR rating D-) sportsbook taken off-line; principals resign
Premierbet.com currently displays the message: "Premierbet regrets our site is temporarily unavailable for essential maintenance work. Globet (SBR rating D+) accepts losing wager day after event

08.20.2007

Globet sportsbook requires all wagers to be manually confirmed by its lines staff before the player officially has action. Globet has been known to accept losing bets well after the events are finished. Players need to be aware that if  they place a wager after business hours, when sportsbook services are closed, the book may take the opportunity to accept wagers that have already lost the previous night or early that morning.

Player: I placed a bet last week at Globet for £100 and they said it was conditionally accepted - meaning it was referred to a trader to authorise it. The bet wasn't accepted until the next day when it had already lost. I think it is only fair to have a decision whether to accept the bet before the match! Interestingly they say the bet can be cancelled by sending a message or calling during office hours. Since there would be no-one there at 23:30 at night no-one would have been contactable till they'd already accepted the losing wager the next day. Also they have quite happily admitted to accepting a losing wager after the event. This is totally unacceptable for me. This is their stance:

Globet: Thank you for your message. Please note that bets placed during closing time and conditionally accepted will be examined the morning a

08.17.2007

Premierbet (SBR rating D-) source of new slow-pay complaint; company stock suspended.
Premierbet's parent company, Interactive Gaming Holdings plc has announced today that it has not received the interim funding needed and its "financial position has become uncertain."

Player: I see from your site that other people are suffering with Premierbet.  I am delighted that you are highlighting this.  Other sites seem too cowardly or inefficient to let people know. I have withdrawals to the total of £4100 outstanding since 16 July .  I can't understand how they are allowed to go on trading. My account is still open, and I have £1500 credit still showing. Can you advise me on anything I can do?    They are ignoring my emails, and phone calls are directed to a London number which is constantly on answer machine.

Jazz and ABCislands downgraded from B+ to B

08.17.2007

Jazz and ABCislands downgraded from B+ to B yesterday due to listing unavailable transfer options. Two non-US players have complained that they would not have deposited if they had known that book-to-book transfers with Pinnacle Sports (SBR rating A+) and Bookmaker (SBR rating A+), as well as Neteller transfers were not available as advertised. Some players have taken a check paying the additional fees while having to accept the smaller transfer limits. Jazz plans to make both of these options available by the end of next week and will be reevaluated at that time.

Sportsbook.com states Neteller withdrawals are back

08.16.2007
Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D+) management confirms with SBR that the Jazette Ltd. Group is now processing payouts to non-US players by Neteller. Players who have had to wait over three months have reported receiving five-figure sums in $2500 increments as recently as this morning. The Neteller option is not listed as an available transfer method on the group's websites, but owed players have been contacted by email to confirm their Neteller account number and arrange transfer. Players outside of the US and Canada who are waiting for a payout from the Sportsbook.com family may contact SBR for assistance in arranging payment. Neteller is again seen as a viable option for many sportsbooks, such as BetOnline (SBR rating A-), who relisted the method on their cashier page yesterday. Sportsbook.com management also stated that of the over 2000 players that experienced a one month or longer delay due to processing issues, 93 users remain. Those users, many of whom are from the March 21st batch of botched transfers, are also welcome to contact SBR for assistance.

It is not uncommon for sportsbooks to stall payment to winning players using the excuse of an "account audit" or "investigation."
