1Bet2Bet claims players will be paid in one week

1Bet2Bet (unrated) has claimed to SBR that the two players who reported being slow-paid will be paid in one week. Player 1 requested €151 on February 7th, player 2 requested €732 on April 12th. SBR will update this report.

BetOnline247 makes partial payment to player

BetOnline247 (SBR rating D-) has made a partial payment of $200 to a player that had his deposit returned after requesting a withdrawal. The player initially requested $1492 from BetOnline247 on December 7th. His deposit of $225 was returned on January 14th. On June 9th, BetOnline247 management contacted SBR claiming that the site was once again operational after a period of downtime and that the sportsbook intended to settle all balances owed. SBR will update this report as more payments are made. Players that have not contacted SBR are asked to fill out sportsbook complaint forms.

It has been reported that the Luck3 Poker room has been powered off by the Cake Network. Luck3 is not currently hosting any real money games. Three players have contacted SBR for assistance with unpaid balances. There have been no known payouts made by Luck3 since the poker room was disabled from the Cake Network. BetOnline now accepting non-US bettors

BetOnline (SBR rating B+) tells SBR that they are now accepting non-US bettors. Residents of Panama, where BetOnline is headquartered, and residents of Malta are not able to open accounts.

Stryyke voids players winnings and closes account without providing reason

Stryyke (SBR rating D-) has closed a player's account and confiscated €300 in winnings. The action came after a May 18th withdrawal request of €30. Stryyke stated to the player that his initial deposit of €446 would be returned to his Moneybookers account minus a €25 'handling fee'. Stryyke provided no reason as to why the player's account was closed, but has recently justified confiscating winnings from professional players.

Stryyke:

Your initial deposit of 446€ will be credited back to your Moneybooker account withholding a handling fee of 25€. In consequence, you account will remain frozen.

BetDOS remains off-line with player funds owed

Another BetDOS (SBR rating F) player wrote in to SBR today that had a $3000 balance at the time the sportsbook went off-line. BetDOS had its website shut down for failing to make payments to its hosting provider, and has yet to come back online. BetDOS owes 8 players $9,833 according to sportsbook complaints filed.

Bet365 investigates player account

Editor's note: This matter is resolved.

A Bet365 (SBR rating C) player claims to have accidentally deposited $23,600 instead of $600 into his betting account. He made Bet365 aware of the error and was asked to provide documents verifying his identity. The player states he supplied what was requested of him, and that his account was suspended pending management review. The player canceled the credit card he used to deposit, and is attempting to withdraw via a different method. SBR is inquiring with Bet365 on the status of their investigation.

Matchbook website encountering technical difficulties

Matchbook (SBR rating B-) players have reported technical difficulties. Matchbook has confirmed to SBR that users are currently unable to log in. Matchbook was unable to quote an ETA on when the log in process would be fixed, but stated the technical team was working to restore site access as fast as possible.

WSEX update - player debt now $227,690

A WSEX (SBR rating D+) payment complaint has been reported. On February 25th a player requested a check withdrawal of $600. As of June 11th, his funds have yet to be received. This is the 35th outstanding slow-pay complaint levied against WSEX, increasing their player debt to $227,690.

World Cup 2010 Trivia Contest - $2K Prizes

SBRforum has announced a free World Cup 2010 Trivia Contest. The contest gives away a total $2,000 in prizes to SBRforum members and runs through July. The first two events take place tomorrow at 2PM and 7PM ET.

BetOnline247 states it is back on-line and intends to pay player debt

BetOnline247 (SBR rating D-) is back on-line. A BetOnline247 manager e-mailed SBR and claimed that the site is once again operational and that all withdrawals owed would be honored. BetOnline247 refunded several player deposits and kept winnings in their accounts. All players in need of assistance with BetOnline247 should fill out a sportsbook complaint form. SBR advises players to avoid BetOnline247 until it shows that it can pay its player debt.

BetPhoenix website down

BetPhoenix (SBR rating B+) website is currently down. This is the second time in the last two months BetPhoenix's website has went down unexpectedly. BetPhoenix's mirror site of  http://bettor2.betphoenix.com is up. Players are able to place bets via telephone at 1-888-238-8018. SBR will update this report after learning more about the BetPhoenix main website outage.

Stryyke payouts update - 31 players owed €27,873

Stryyke (SBR rating D-) slow-pay complaint #31 has been reported to SBR. On May 17th a player requested €424 via Moneybookers. He has sent e-mails to Stryyke customer service which have went unanswered. Stryyke owes 31 players €27,873.85, and has declined to discuss cases with SBR any longer. Stryyke recently confiscated winnings from a player citing that players determined to be professionals are ineligible for any winnings.

BetHorizon Moneybookers slow-pay #3

A third BetHorizon (SBR rating B-) slow-pay complaint has been received. On May 6th a player requested £5000 to his Moneybookers account. He was informed that Moneybookers was backed up and that he would be put in the queue. As of June 8th, his payout has still not been credited - and BetHorizon has provided no further update on his withdrawal status. SBR will update this report.

Unibet account closure dispute - funds not returned

A Unibet (SBR rating B+) account closure complaint has been received. On March 24th a player alleges that Unibet closed his account which held a €710.44 balance. Unibet requested the player confirm his Moneybookers and bank account information prior to sending his funds. Unibet made no indication as to why the account was closed and whether or not just his deposit would be returned or the entirety of his balance. This is the second outstanding complaint of Unibet closing a player's account without making a payment to the player. SBR is following up with Unibet.

A Globet (SBR rating D+) bonus complaint has been filed. In February of 2010, a German player deposited €100 and accepted a bonus offer of 100%. After making the required number of bets to release his bonus, Globet stated that players from Germany are no longer allowed to operate accounts, and denied crediting the bonus. Globet closed the player's account and has yet to return his deposit. SBR is investigating the bonus complaint.

WSEX payouts - $375 slow-pay reported

A WSEX (SBR rating C-) slow-pay complaint has been reported. A player requested $225 on April 5th and $150 on May 6th and has yet to be paid from either request. This increases WSEX's total debt to players to $227,090 - the first unpaid payout request on file is October of 2009.

Oddsmaker player - $2499 slow-pay

An Oddsmaker (SBR rating D-) slow-pay complaint has been reported. On May 6th a player deposited $1399 to Oddsmaker and increased his balance after play to $2499. On May 12th the player made a withdrawal request for his $2499 balance via Neteller. As of June 5th, the funds have not been transferred to his Neteller account.
Editor's update - On June 8th the player reported receiving his $2499 balance.

ABC Islands pays player via $8000 transfer to BetCris

ABC Islands (SBR rating C) has paid a player that filled out a sportsbook complaint. The player had been trying to withdraw his balance since the first week in May.  ABC transferred $8000 to the player's BetCris (SBR rating A+) account. SBR is inquiring with ABC Islands on if other players can receive similar deals. The DPT Sports Group family, which includes ABC, Jazz Sportsbook, and LooseLines are currently slow-paying four other players for a total of $8500.

WSEX - player debt now $226,715

WSEX (SBR rating C-) is currently slow-paying 36 players a total $226,715. The oldest payout request was made in October of 2009. SBR's last WSEX slow-pay report published on May 14th detailed 33 players being owed $184,284. Since that time, three new WSEX players have come forward who are owed a combined $39,431.

I have been waiting forever to receive moneybookers payouts from WSEX. i have 17736 with them and ive been asking for $2500 every couple of days. I have now requested my whole balance with them over several payout requests.

BetPhoenix officially acquires Skybook

Skybook (SBR rating B-) moved to the BetPhoenix (SBR rating B+) platform at the start of last month. The relationship began as a hosting and service arrangement. BetPhoenix told SBR today that they officially own Skybook Sportsbook and stand for Skybook player balances.

Jazz/ABC Islands - Three new slow-pays reported for $7500

Jazz Sportsbook (SBR rating C) and ABC Islands (SBR rating C) players have reported three new slow-pay complaints. Both betting sites were recently downgraded to C, along with LooseLines Sportsbook (SBR rating C) for failing to offer reasonable eWallet service to players. After losing the ability to offer Neteller, the DPT Sports Group family also began to slow-pay via Moneybookers and bank wire. Jazz management attributes the delays to failed processors and banking restrictions. $7500 is owed in total to the 3 players that wrote to SBR for assistance; this increases the amount owed by Jazz to $16,500 to 5 players. Players in need of assistance with Jazz, LooseLines, and ABC Islands are asked to submit sportsbook complaint forms.
