1XBet Player Accused of Bearding for Another Account

Share with:

A 1XBet Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) player has filed a sportsbook complaint.

The player was successfully paid approximately 900 PLN (about $236) from the online sportsbook before his account was closed.

The player has claimed that a remaining balance consisting of 1,000 PLN in winnings have not been paid.

He has authorized 1XBet to disclose his wagers, transactions, and account details as is necessary to review the complaint. He has claimed to have provided his ID card, screen capture of utility bill, and photograph showing his face next to his ID card to pass the KYC process.

1XBet accused the player of not being the individual placing the sports bets on the account, but did not expand on why or how they reached this conclusion. Essentially, 1XBet is accusing the player of being a "beard" placing bets on behalf of another individual. This is commonly done when a player is limited or banned from a sportsbook and needs to navigate around this restriction by enlisting the help of a third party.

Sportsbook Review has asked the online betting site for comment.
