SBR has three SBG Global (SBR rating D-) payout complaints on file. The three players are owed a combined $17,525, and have been waiting since March 5th, 2012. Each of the players gave a similar account of their user experience with SBG, and currently wait for an update on the status of their funds. SBR is looking into each player's complaint, and will be updating this sportsbook report against SBGGlobal.com.

YesBet.ag has been added to the SBR sportsbook ratings guide at D-. On May 2nd, SBR issued a scam alert that YesBet was offering free $25 accounts to players; claiming to have over 10 years of experience, and spamming players with fake email headers. YesBet used the acronyms of popular iGaming forums to suggest the sportsbook was a new sponsor of those websites. YesBet addressed the deceptive mailer in this message to SBR staff.

YesBet.ag (unrated) is emailing players $25 no-deposit bonuses. The sportsbook claims to be headquartered in Costa Rica; the domain name was created on April 1st, 2012. The sportsbook is delivering email using headers associated with popular iGaming forums, suggesting that they may be in possession of a member database. Players are advised to avoid the unknown sportsbook. SBR will update this report. Players in need of assistance are asked to write to help@sportsbookreview.com.

Two new Sportsbetting.ag (SBR rating D+) payment complaints have been reported. Player one states a $1,000 payout was requested on April 2nd. Player two states that a $700 withdrawal requested March 27th has not been paid, and claims that the sportsbook has not provided an update. SBR is following up on these payment complaints.

A BetAtHome (SBR rating C-) says his account has been locked. The player deposited €200 and received a 50% bonus. BetAtHome allegedly locked the player's account before the bonus could be used. The player states that after contacting the sportsbook, he was accused of having two accounts. SBR is following up on this sportsbook complaint.

04.30.2012

A Bet770 (SBR rating C-) player tells SBR that he requested a withdrawal of £1,190 on March 25th. The player was required to send a scan of his ID, utility bill, and to have a telephone conversation with the security department. After obliging each Bet770 request, the player was told he was verified for the payout. He has not received his funds or any update from the Bet770.com camp. SBR is following up on this sportsbook complaint.

A 10Bet (SBR rating C) player tells SBR he opened his account with a $150 (converted from Polish Zloty) deposit, accepted a bonus of $90 and proceeded to complete his rollover. Upon competion of the rollover, the player's balance was $903. The player states he provided all ID documents required, which were allegedly accepted. The player says 10Bet confiscated his bonus+winnings, refunding only his initial $150 deposit to his Moneybookers account. He claims that 10Bet indicated he was guilty of multi-accounting; a charge he vehemently denies. SBR is following up on this player complaint.

An AllYouBet (unrated) player reports payment feedback. The player tells SBR that he requested a $3,000 withdrawal on March 31st, 2012. On April 3rd, the sportsbook asked him to provide his ID documents. The player sent all requested forms of ID the same day. His documents were approved eleven days later. On April 12th, SBR published a newswire asking for AllYouBet feedback as four complaints of non-payment were on file. SBR will update this report.

A 105Vig (SBR rating F) victim writes in. The player tells SBR that he held a $3,000 balance when the scam sportsbook went off-line in February of 2012. On November 8th of last year, SBR published a  sportsbook scam alert on 105Vig as the new sportsbook advertised no-deposit bonuses and credit lines to the public. 105Vig was completely off-line just three months later. SBR advises players to avoid sending their money to unestablished bookmakers. Sportsbooks that offer bonuses which seem too good to be true often are.

SBG Global payment complaint

An SBG Global (SBR rating D-) player submits a payment complaint. The player tells SBR that he requested a $5,000 payment on March 23rd, 2011. The player has not received his funds and claims that the sportsbook will not provide an update. He has an additional $3,000 in his account that he's now attempting to withdraw. SBR is following up on this claim.

A GetWin (SBR rating D+) player has filed a slow-pay complaint. The player tells SBR that he requested £550 on March 30th, 2012 via Moneybookers, and has yet to receive payment. On March 16th, SBR reported on GetWin payout issues submitted by users. GetWin's sportsbook rating was subsequently lowered from D+ to C-. Three GetWin players have confirmed receiving approximately $5,856. SBR has contacted GetWin regarding this latest payment complaint and will update this report.

Sportsbetting.ag (SBR rating D+) has reversed their decision in the $16,000 winnings dispute covered by SBR on March 26th, 2012. SBR reported that a player who registered with an incorrect state of residence had his balance nullified for allegedly being in violation of house policy. The player told SBR that he noticed Louisiana was not an option to select when registering. He chose a neighboring state and thought all was clear when he claims a representative phoned him the next day to help him make his first deposit.

Betsson acquires Nordic Gaming Group

Betsson (SBR rating C+) has agreed to acquire the Nordic Gaming Group. The Swedish operator's acquisition of the Maltese company includes brands NordicBet, TrioBet and ToBet. The move bolsters Betsson's market share in what are seen as emerging territories. On June 16th, 2011, SBR reported that Betsson acquired BetSafe Sportsbook for €32.5m.

In the deal, Betsson is to pay an initial price of €65m, which includes approximately €5m in company shares. In 2011, the Nordic Gaming Group had revenue of €50m.

Whilst the company appears to be strengthening, Betsson did make SBR headlines last month for its confiscation of €360 in an unusual dispute that involved a female gambler. SBR analyst Justin broke down the case in an iGaming video report.

SportingBet player claims €550 was confiscated

A SportingBet (SBR rating D+) player claims he had €550 confiscated. The player asked for payment in February of 2012, but noted that the process remained "pending" longer than previous successful payment requests. The player then noted he was unable to log-in. The player was given an email stating that his account has been closed per the decision of management. SportingBet has allegedly not refunded the player's funds.

On March 6th, 2012, SBR reported that SportingBet confiscated £1,900 from a player. The player in this dispute was accused of multi-accounting; a charge he vehemently denied. The player claimed that he obliged all requests to show his ID, but that SportingBet refused to further expand. SportingBet declined comment to SBR.
 

TitanBet player unhappy with enhanced screening

A TitanBet (SBR rating C) player claims he deposited $325 to wager on sports, but his account was immediately suspended. The player claims to have sent high quality scans of requested documentation. TitanBet allegedly requested the player to take a photo of himself holding the documents to unlock his account. While it may sound unusual, more sportsbooks are beginning to enforce stricter "Know Your Customer" (KYC) guidelines. Players who may not be in possession of given ID are often unable to comply with these requests, eliminating a percentage of multi-accounting fraud. SBR has advised the player in this dispute to oblige the sportsbook's request, and will update this report.

BetIslands (SBR rating B) website will be unavailable at approximately 10PM ET for software maintenance. On April 8th, SBR reported that the sportsbook was completing its move to a new wagering facility, and would be switching to proprietary sports and casino software. Due to user feedback regarding the sports platform, BetIslands made the decision to go back to using DGS for its book and casino offerings. Management tells SBR they will still add to the betting offerings using the old software and are simply responding to player feedback.  Players will not be able to wager by phone during the software maintenance, which is expected to run a couple hours.

Sportsbetting.ag players experiencing slow-pays

A Sportsbetting.ag (SBR rating D+) player submits a payment complaint. The player requested an $1,800 withdrawal on March 11th, 2012. Sportsbetting.ag assigned a ten business day time-frame for funds to be received, but the player has to date not been paid. Sportsbetting.ag management confirmed to SBR that there is currently an issue with one of their processors, contributing to payment delays. The player's $1,800 payment was to be sent through a method that was reportedly still being paid on time. Currently, Sportsbetting.ag is slow-paying eight players more than $100,000. SBR is following up on this sportsbook complaint.

Sportsbetting.ag was recently downgraded from C- to D+ for the confiscation of $16,000 in winnings from a player who registered with an incorrect signup detail. SBR covered that dispute in this sportsbook industry news report.
