Say what you will about New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the man keeps his word. Dominating the wire today are reports that New Jersey plans to offer sports betting licenses as early as January 9th, 2013. As expected this is already ruffling the feathers of sports league executives, the first of which is NCAA Executive VP Mark Lewis, who announced Monday that the NCAA would no longer use New Jersey as the venue for five events scheduled for 2013.

"Maintaining the integrity of sports and protecting student-athlete well-being are at the bedrock of the NCAA's mission, and are reflected in our policies prohibiting the hosting of our championships in states that provide for single game sports wagering," -NCAA Executive VP Mark Lewis.

SBR added Gtbets Sportsbook to the ratings guide on August 16th, 2011. GTBets' initial rating was C. SBR reported that Gtbets was targeting displaced players of former operation VIP Sports (SBR rating B+), as well as similarly defunct sister sites Nine.com (SBR rating B+) and BetGameday (SBR rating B+).

A BetClic (SBR rating D+) player submits a sportsbook dispute. The player states that he attempted to withdraw his balance of €1,826 in mid-September after having his wager limits reduced substantially. He provided the required ID requested by BetClic. BetClic allegedly confiscated the player's balance after ruling that he was guilty of fraud.

A YouWin Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player submits a soccer betting dispute. The player states a €300 bet was placed on October 6th for the Kettering vs Bashley match in Southern League, English Football. The odds the player received were 1.93. The player claims YouWin has not graded the match and has not given him a direct answer.

SBR Forum's Free Football Handicapping Contest is still open for registration. This year's contest gives away a whopping $17,000 in cash prizes. A ToBet (SBR rating C+) player submits a bonus dispute. The player deposited €200 on October 8th, 2012, receiving a €35 bonus with a 10X rollover requirement. The player's first punt was successful, increasing his balance to €693.25. The player tells SBR that he was immediately limited to €0.20 per bet. The player points out that it would take 700+ bets to finish his rollover. SBR is following up.

WSEX Sportsbook (SBR rating F) players are owed $916,053. The WSEX users all report a similar story: they are told that processing is made difficult by banking regulations, and that payouts are delayed as a result. WSEX representatives are unwilling to speak with SportsbookReview. WSEX is listed in the SBR scam sportsbook blacklist.

A Bet33 Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) player submits a dispute regarding payout fees. On August 19th, the player requested payment via cheque for 2,308 USD. The payout carried a ten business day time-frame. The player tells SBR that after his funds had not been received in the promised time-frame, Bet33 suggested the player switch to a different withdrawal method.

A BetAtHome (SBR rating C-) player claims that his account has been suspended with a €1,930 balance. The player states that BetAtHome has not provided any information on his account status, and that all required ID documents are on file with the sportsbook. BetAtHome is known for shutting down accounts without providing players any details. SBR is following up.

The player attempted to collect a $560 payout through a local business but was advised that the transaction details given by BetRoyal were incorrect. The player claims that he contacted BetRoyal and was told the situation would be corrected same-day; however, the player has waited four days for updates.

Bodog Asia has made its first major move following their acquisition of Bodog UK. Bodog.co.uk will be transformed into a standalone casino product, and temporarily closed for new registrations pending a reworking of the platform. Players who played with the UK site for sports betting are able to cash out their balances in full as normal. Additionally, Bodog.eu is no longer serving players directly; however where applicable, players will be redirected to the relevant Bodog licensed operator. Bodog.eu players are also able to request their balances in full.

The player alleges that he has only received generic updates from the sportsbook. SBR is following up on this payout complaint.

BetIslands Sportsbook (SBR rating B) asks players to access their website at www.betislands.mx for now. The BetIslands.ag domain is currently expired. BetIslands remains available to assist players with inquiries over telephone at 1-800-998-8740. BetIslands management has advised SBR that the regular website should be back online soon.

BetJambo.com is the latest sportsbook in the Apex Sportsbook family. BetJambo claimed to hold a sportsbook rating of B at SBR, displaying the message prominently on its homepage. The tactic is not unusual for Apex Group books, as one skin piggybacks on the name of an A+ rated sportsbook in an attempt to confuse new bettors.
