Update 9/12: A Unibet Sportsbook manager has informed SBR that the player has now been paid, but his account will remain closed. A Unibet Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player has claimed that a €868 balance was confiscated. The player indicated in a complaint filed with SBR that his account with Unibet Sportsbook was fully verified.

A VIPSports.eu Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) player submits a payout complaint. The player deposited $300 on June 2. He cashed $2,000 on the US Open golf tournament as well as an additional $4,500 on the PGA Championship. The player then asked to be paid $1,000 on July 30, with two additional payments requested in the following week. He has not been paid.

Earlier this year, BetRevolution Sportsbook confiscated $26,908 from a trio of sports bettors. BetRevolution accused the players of syndicate betting in a long diatribe posted on sports forums and has been unwilling to revisit the theft, or to discuss reports of slow-payment with SBR. BetRevolution is on the SBR blacklist.

SBR has completed its reevaluation of BetWay Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) following their revamping of bonus terms and conditions to be more in-line with industry standard. BetWay was its own worst enemy in the past with heavy handed bonus rules that led many users to file sportsbook complaints through SBR.

The 2013 NFL season kicks off on Thursday, September 5 at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado. Defending champion Baltimore Ravens are installed as 7.5 point underdogs against the Denver Broncos. The total for the season opener is set at 48 points with -110 each way at most online sportsbooks.

British bookmaker WilliamHill (SBR rating A) has finalised their acquisition of Spanish-facing betting company Miapuesta. WillHill took advantage of a six-month call option it held in its pocket following the initial agreement with Miapuesta's parent company Sportingbet (SBR rating D+), which SBR reported on earlier in the year.

A BetAtHome Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player has submitted a sportsbook dispute. The player claims to have deposited €200 to his account for a 50% bonus which carried a 4X rollover. He began chipping away the turnover requirement, earning €1,100 before requesting his first cash out. His account has since been closed.

SBR Forum has announced a $5,000 poker tournament. The SBR community can compete in daily satellite events Monday through Friday which award SBR points through the poker platform to ultimately gain entry to the big $5,000 finale which takes place on December 15. A Dimeline Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) player owed $1,100 since June 8 has still yet to be paid. Dimeline has provided no updates on the player's payout status, nor updates on a player owed $2,400 since February 1. Dimeline has admitted intentionally slow-paying the second player and has since discontinued all communication with SBR.

NetBet Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) has addressed the sportsbook dispute reported by SBR on August 22. SBR reported that a player claimed a payout initially requested August 8 had not been processed. The user claimed that on August 17 NetBet requested a banking statement, which was provided the same-day.

Casino software developer Net Entertainment has launched a new mobile video slots title. Reel Rush Touch is the latest creation of the Stockholm based company and offers players 3,125 ways to win through custom add-ons designed with mobile in mind. Mobile gaming is an area most operators have paid particular interest as traditional desktop usage becomes less standard.

The first sportsbook complaint following Bet770's rebranding as NetBet has been received. A player has claimed that an August 8th payout request has not been filled by NetBet, which promises to process payouts within the same week. NetBet alleged that the user did not provide a banking statement until August 17 and that this delayed the normal payout cycle.

A BetAtHome Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player that reported being slow-paid last month has yet to be paid. SBR originally covered the complaint in an article dated July 11. The player requested a 2,850 BGN ($1,908) payout via eWallet in late June. His request was never processed. The player claims to have provided ID to the sportsbook.

Globet Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) has paid a player owed €569.25 since June 16. Globet users have complained of the sportsbook falling behind on their publicly listed eWallet time-frame of 2-3 days. Management has been slow to respond in some cases but generally communicates with SBR regarding the user delays.

BetWay Sportsbook (SBR rating D) has agreed to revisit all sportsbook cold cases. A controversial old "30%" rule which was since discontinued per SBR's recommendation enabled the sportsbook to confiscate player winnings if any of the bettor's wagers exceeded 30% of their bonus. One such player has written in to SBR.

The UK Government plans to impose a 15% tax on betting companies that cater to UK clients but base their headquarters in countries known to be tax havens. From December 2014 onward gambling operators will be subject to taxation based on where their users are located, not in fact where their operations are rooted.

British bookmaker William Hill (SBR rating A) is pulling out of China. As of August 19, all residents of China will have their accounts suspended. After this date, the players will be unable to use their accounts to access the sportsbook or any of the gaming rooms. Players will be able to request payment as normal through the "My Account" cashier.

A Dimeline Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) player has reported being owed $1,100 since June 8th. Dimeline has provided no firm updates on his payment status. Interestingly, the player has reported that despite making his transaction using plastic, he was not asked to submit documentation. SBR is following up on the sportsbook complaint.
