As the users were tied for first place with 21 contest units each, they also split the 50,000 SBR Points awarded to second place. SBR points can be used to redeem merchandise from the SBR Store.

A YouWin Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player submits a bonus complaint. The player tells SBR that he deposited €1,000 after creating his account, and was limited after three bets to €1-€5 maximum stakes. The player claims that YouWin is refusing to prorate the bonus to allow the player to cashout. SBR is following up on the claim.

The player confirmed via Betsson's live chat support that the limit was correct and claims that her country of residence was cited as the reason behind it.

At approximately 10:28AM CST, SBR reported that the 5Dimes group websites were inaccessible due to a technical age: phone and wagering support was unavailable during this time. SBR user "wulfman14" took down the top prize of over 1,000 SBR points, with posters "adamho", "jakepeavy21", "Beerdog99", and "mw00" rounding up the top five. Last week, SBR announced a $5,500 contest and poker series for 2013. SBR wishes all readers a happy and healthy New Year.

Canbet Sportsbook ownership change

Canbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) is now owned by Interactive Gaming & Sports (IGASgroup.com). SBR reported that the company's prior ownership, Yin Khing Investments Ltd, acquired the sportsbook in May of 2009.

24SportsWeb (SBR rating C-) has addressed the payout complaint reported by SBR on December 24th. Management confirms that their Skrill payouts have been delayed. SBR reported that a player owed $5,000 since September filed a sportsbook complaint. 24SportsWeb claims this player will be paid Tuesday of next week.

SBR Poker.com is running a tournament to celebrate New Year's eve. Less than thirty-five seats remain in the fixed prize-pool event, which has an overlay of 12,000 points. New Jersey residents are going to have to wait a little longer for sportsbooks in Atlantic City. District Judge Michael Shipp rejected the argument that the major sports leagues and NCAA would be unable to prove financial damages if New Jersey were to proceed with allowing sportsbooks to operate in Atlantic City.

SBR Forum has announced its new major contest for 2013. The SBR Gaming Triathlon awards $5,500 in championship prizes as well as more than 800,000 points. Points may be used for merchandise and other redemptions in the SBR Store. The Triathlon is open to the public and the competition has three phases: a hoops contest, poker tournament and a blackjack contest.

The player tells SBR that he requested a $5,000 payout via Skrill in the beginning of September 2012. 24SportsWeb allegedly promised the player on multiple occasions that his payout would be sent in one week. SBR is following up on this sportsbook complaint and will update this report.

A BetAtHome Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player claims that his account has been closed with a €1,450 balance. The player tells SBR that he has been given no update from the sportsbook and has not been refunded his deposit. SBR is following up with BetAtHome regarding this claim and will update this report.

A Bet770 (SBR rating C-) manager has addressed one of the claims reported by SBR on December 17th, 2012. A player told SBR that he requested a €230 payout via Skrill on December 5th but it had not been processed within the advertised payout window. Bet770 tells SBR that this player has now received his payout. SBR is following up with the second user to confirm payment.

BetIslands Sportsbook is no longer solvent. The sportsbook has lost its financial backer. Contingency plans have proved to be nonexistent. Player balances are estimated to be in the amount of 1.5 million dollars.

888Sport  (SBR rating B) will no longer accept sports bets from Australia as of Wednesday, December 19th, 2012. 888 management tells SBR that players will still be able to play at 888Poker.com, and are free to request payouts at their leisure. Pending bets will be settled as normal. Regulation changes in Australia was cited as the reason for the decision.
