Sportsbook.com Global, also known as Sportsbook.com Rest Of World, has rebranded to Uwin.com. The brand is powered by Win United Ltd. in Malta, which also operates YouWin Sportsbook (SBR rating C-). SBR is attempting to interview one of the Win United Ltd. managers for comment on the move.

Racebets.com has addressed the player dispute published by SBR on November 8th. In that report, a player claimed he deposited €2,000, received a 20% bonus and was eventually limited to €1 stakes. Racebets management told SBR the player did not attempt a payout request, clarifying that his bonus would be prorated and all winnings paid as normal.

A Unibet Sportsbook (SBR rating B-) player claims that his €10,000 balance was seized. The player states that no specific reason was given the sportsbook for the funds confiscation, save from an excerpt of their terms and conditions which allow the company to close an account "without any explanation whatsoever".

A VivaroBet Sportsbook (unrated) player submits an account complaint. The player claims that approximately €2,000 was confiscated by VivaroBet when the sportsbook closed his account. The player claimed that after following up, he was told the decision was made by the risk management department.

A Globet Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) player submits a payout complaint. The player claims that he has attempted to request payment for over €300 for two weeks, and has been unsuccessful. Globet players have reported of poor customer service, though the sportsbook has addressed claims with SBR. SBR is following up and will update as this player receives payment.

Update: Racebets.com addresses dispute. SBR considers this matter resolved.

A Racebets.com (unrated) player files a dispute. The player deposited €2,000 to Racebets after being emailed with a 20% deposit promotion. After receiving the bonus, he began wagering and eventually cleared through all but €1,000 of the turnover requirement. Racebets then lowered his bet size to €1.

Arkadiabet Sportsbook (unrated) is using a 'gotcha' rule to confiscate player winnings and bonus cash. A player wrote to SBR indicating that after requesting a withdrawal of € 400, Arkadiabet messaged him that his funds were confiscated due to violation of an unusual rule seemingly designed to cheat players.

SBR Forum thanks all 62 forum users who took part in Saturday afternoon's charity poker event for Hurricane Sandy relief. A total of $1,550 was raised; the donation will be made to the Red Cross. The top three finishers in the SBR poker charity tournament were users "4uk4life", "daneblazer" and "Augustus".

SportsbettingOnline (SBR rating C-) was added to the SBR ratings guide on May 26th, 2012. The sportsbook was initially downgraded after a representative of the brand attempted to poach players from other sportsbooks. SBR spoke with the SBO manager, who agreed to review the calls and dismiss the employee. Since that time, SBO has received favorable player reviews and has not been the subject of any significant issue. The SBO rating has been increased from D+ to C-.

On October 29th, 2012, SBR reported that Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-) disabled a player's account. The player claimed that a $30 balance was removed without word. SBR followed up with management and verified that the player's account was closed as he registered from a barred state, and that his balance contained only $4 in bonus cash. SBR considers this dispute closed.

SBR Forum has announced that there will be a charity poker tournament on Saturday, November 3rd, where all proceeds will go toward Hurricane Sandy relief. A Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-) player tells SBR that his account has been disabled. The player claims that his balance of $30 was removed by Sportsbook.com, with no word on what he has done wrong. SBR is following up on this player's sportsbook complaint, and will update this report as more information becomes available. Players with Sportsbook.com feedback are asked to write to SBR.

UPDATE 1:05PM CST: BetIslands is back online. The BetIslands Sportsbook (SBR rating B) homepage is currently down. Management tells SBR the site is expected to be back online momentarily. In the meantime, players can place bets as normal by calling in to 1-800-998-8632. SBR will update as the sportsbook comes back online.

WSEX Sportsbook (SBR rating F) players have reported being owed $916,053. The sportsbook is continuing to market to unsuspecting player, sending bonus offers and providing no information on their financial situation, hoping to bring in new business. WSEX players are being provided no updates on their funds, and WSEX is refusing comment to SportsbookReview.com.

Russell Hawkins, known as The Major on Majorwager.com has passed away. Russell's small plane crashed into the trees of Puslinch Lake in Canada Thursday afternoon. Russell branched off from TheRX forum to create his own sports betting website in 2000. The SBR community sends its deepest condolences to Mr. Hawkin's family.
